The Diflucan Partnership Program

In 2000 Pfizer began a partnership with the South African Ministry of Health to donate the anti-fungal Diflucan through government hospitals to patients lacking even the most basic health care.
Based on the initial success in reaching patients, the South African partnership was expanded geographically and without dollar or time limits.

Over 5.5 million tablets have been shipped since the beginning of the Diflucan Partnership Program and more than 80 countries are now eligible

These countries are located in  Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East.

In addition, Diflucan Partnership Program  joined the Access To Treatment cooperation in 2004, so that institutions can apply for products available through other companies.
